Your 8 days Rwanda and Uganda wildlife tour will lead you out for game drives, boat cruise, golden monkey trekking and Batwa trail in Rwanda and Ugandan parks; Akagera national park, Mgahinga national park, Queen Elizabeth national park, and lake Mburo national park. You will end your excursion with a stopover at the equator in Uganda.
After a hefty breakfast, set out to Akagera National Park .This is located in the north eastern region of Rwanda. It is approximately 110 km from the airport which is about a 2 ½ hour drive from the airport.
Have a mouth watering breakfast and set off for a game drive in Akagera national park. The drive will bring you close to the wildlife found in this park such as giraffes, Impalas, Topis, the Zebras, bush bucks, African swallows, eland, the vervet monkeys, warthogs, baboons, Mongoose, the hippos, the crocodiles, the elephants, the Defassa waterbuck, the oribi, reedbucks, the roan antelopes, sable, buffalos and many more. Have a lunch break and after proceed to Lake Ihema for a boat cruise.
After an appetizing breakfast, set off to Mgahinga national park located in southern Ugandanear the Rwanda border.
Have a morning breakfast and meet up the game rangers for briefing about golden monkey tracking. After the briefing, proceed to the bamboo forest for trekking of these stunning primates as the jump from one tree to another. Head back for lunch as you relax a bit for the next activity. After your lunch break, set off for a cultural encounter as you meet the park’s first tribe the batwa. These indigenous people will take you through various activities such as storytelling and their lifestyle. After the trail, head back to the lodge.
After your breakfast, set off to Queen Elizabeth national park in the western part of Uganda. The drive may take approximately 5 hours. On arrival have lunch and relax at the lodge.
Have a tasty breakfast as you prepare to meet up with your guide for a morning game drive. Your game drive will give you an opportunity to view various animals such as lions elephants, jackals, Impalas, Topis, the Zebras, bush bucks, eland. Head back for lunch. After your lunch break, set off for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel .during your cruise you will have a chance to view various animals such as schools of hippos, buffaloes and various bird species.
After your early morning breakfast, set off to Lake Mburo national park. You will have a lunch break in Mbarara town and embark on your journey to Lake Mburo national park. On arrival head off for a boat cruise on lake Mburo national park .
After you breakfast and head out for a game drive in Lake Mburo national park. It is the smallest Savannah national park in Ugandawith a variety of wildlife to view. After your game drive embark on your journey to Kampala with a stopover at the equator to take photos and participate in the water experiment at the equator. Proceed with your journey to Entebbe for your return flight.
