Quoting our Tour Prices: The price quotes are inclusive of all transportation as per the itinerary, park entrance fees, permits where applicable, drivers Expenses and third party insurance for the vehicle, The rate are not inclusive of accommodation while in Kampala if a client is already in Kampala, travelers Insurance (which should be purchased individually if required), local airport departure tax, visa fees, tips, soft driks and alcoholic beverages, telephone calls, laundry and other personal expenses, some of the cost can be paid at the hotels.

Bookings: When booking your holiday direct with Travel Hut Uganda, please quote the tour number of your own specialized itinerary if applicable, intended date for arrival and departure, number of people traveling in your party, accommodation preferences and flight details, if known. This will ensure that our arrangements are to your satisfaction and concise. Gorilla trekking generally requires a minimum of 3 – 6 month advance booking for permits this done by cash payment in advance.
Children under 12 years are not allowed to track chimpanzees and children under 16 years are not allowed to trek the gorillas. Getting a gorilla permit is not a guarantee of seeing a gorilla.
Local conditions sometimes mean that access to the gorillas is made impossible at short notice. We are unable to accept liability for any circumstance that might lead to gorilla viewing being cancelled, whether it is closure of the National Park or borders; absence of the gorillas; security changes. Refunds are at the discretion of the relevant authority and we cannot accept liability for them. There is no refund for any fees paid for the gorillas and chimpanzee, however will try to claim refund from relevant authorities but can not guarantee that this can me done. Note: that the chances of seeing the gorillas stand at 98%

How you can make Payment: We require that when you confirm your trip it would be nice to commit a 50% deposit payment by Bank transfer required 6 month before the intended departure, you can pay the balance to us 30 days prior to commencement of the tour. Travel Hut Uganda will receipt your payment, thereby confirm your safari.
If a Booking is made within 30 days of departure, the entire amount must be paid at the time of confirmation and the notes should be in the series (year) of 2006 above not below.

Our Mode of payment: All prices are quoted in US dollars and or Euros. You may pay by cash to Travel Hut Uganda by transfer of finances to our Bank account. Foreign currency cheques, TC’s and payment by credit card may be accepted subject to bank charges at the prevailing rate (as of now this requirement is only made on cash basis), based on local currency can be accepted at the current dollar buying rates. Cheque and TC’s may incur manager’s discretion service charge. Payment may be done in advance by Bank transfer, Western Union, Money Gram if prior notice is given on E-mail we can advice on the best method to use.

Accommodation We assume that people travelling on their own are prepared to share accommodation especially if they wish to join groups. We try to arrange for single travellers to share with someone of the same sex, but cannot guarantee this. Sometimes we have to change the rooming arrangements at the last minute. If it is not possible to arrange a share with another guest, or if you would prefer a single room, you will usually have to pay a single supplement.
For private tours, you only share accommodation with people in your group. And all single travellers have their own rooms.

Airport transfers and flight bookings We offer free Airport pickups and drop offs at the Beginning and end of your trip. If your flight arrives/departs on a different day/time to rest of the tour you may incur a cost for an airport transfer.
We also offer flight booking services for internal flights or flights included in the tour package. These includes flights to tour destinations such as Entebbe to Bwindi- Kihihi, Entebbe to Murchison falls – Pakuba, Entebbe to Kidepo etc, other flights we can book for you include those around the region especially if your trip with us spans to two or more of the following countries Uganda, Rwanda, Congo, Kenya, Tanzania etc

Cancellation All cancellation requests should be emailed to us on time such that the cancellation procedure be put into place. On cancellations made outside 90 days prior to your departure, deposits will be returned less any expenses incurred, unless deposits were stated as non-refundable at the time of booking (for example gorilla permit fees, chimp trekking permit fees, volcano hiking fees. These fees are not refundable, but tracking dates can be extended if you write to us early enough).

Safaris cancelled between 90 and 61 days prior to departure – deposits are not refundable. For cancellations between 60 and 30 days prior to your departure, a charge of 30% of the total cost of the safari will apply.

Inside 30 days a charge of 75% of the cost of the safari will apply. For cancellations 48 days or less, loss of 100% of total booking cost

Late Bookings We will attempt to accommodate any late bookings, we however encourage travellers booking last minute trips to follow advice offered by our staff. Most of the last minute bookings require that you make a decision as quickly as possible to ensure that all your reservations for the tour, permits and accommodation are booked before you start the tour.

Health The client accepts that to participate in the tour requires a measure of physical fitness and health and it is the client’s obligation to ensure that he or she is medically fit to embark on the tour.

Where the client is over the age of 68, the Company requires a medical certificate or doctor’s letter confirming that the client is medically fit to undertake the tour.
